Overseas Buyer – Official 1:1 Business Matching Program

An one-on-one Business Matching Program is available for all overseas buyers at Coex Food Week. Overseas buyers are to register to enroll into this program, and buyers will be paired with exhibiting companies based on the buyers’ stated interests. For overseas buyers, the Business Matching Program, managed by the Secretariat of Coex Food Week, is an easy, highly relevant way to connect with the local suppliers.

Meetings will be one-on-one and each meeting is about 30 minutes each, with a 10 minute break in between.

Overseas buyers will receive the following incentives for participating in the Business Matching Program (Buyers are required to complete 8 sessions per day) :

  • Two ~ Three nights complimentary accommodation + breakfast for one person.
  • Interpretation services in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean during the biz-matching sessions
  • Registration-free access to the exhibition and buyer’s lounge
  • Seoul City Tour

How will Business Matching Program Benefits Buyers or their Business?

This is how Business Matchmaking works:

  • Buyers register on the Business Matching Program by completing the application form (copy of business card) and submit all forms to the Secretariat of Coex Food Week via online. Any late entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • The Secretariat of Coex Food Week will then check buyers’ profile and buyers are granted access to the Business matching program platform to select suppliers of interest.
  • Buyers can choose which exhibitors to meet at the exhibition at what time, send a meeting request, finalize meeting schedule, modify details of particular range of products and edit company profile.
  • The Secretariat of Coex Food Week will also help buyers to plan their meetings in personal telephone and email consultations, and provide Buyer’s Kit to help walk through the program.
  • The confirmed exhibitors will be informed through email for the pre-arranged meeting sessions. The meeting schedule will gives you information about the date, time and who you are going to meet.
  • All meetings will take place in Business Matching Lounge or at Exhibitor’s Booths in Coex Food Week.
  • Please be at the Business Matching Lounge 15 minutes before the first official meeting. Each meeting lasts 30 minutes.
